2003 WINNER Best Burgers

For those of you who love a great burger, you have hit your holy grail at Willie's. Willie's is a family-owned restaurant which serves burgers & fries on one side, and Sudwerk food on the other. Let's start with the burgers and fries... One word describes them... AWESOME. If you are a SoCal native or have gone there enough to know what Tommy's is, you will notice that they are the same as Tommy's in LA. For those of us who have lived in NoCal all of our life, think "In-N-Out". Fried to perfection, with the same style of fresh-cut fries as they have. As far as I'm concerned, the best burgers in Sacramento County are at Willie's.

Sudwerk offers a tremendous selection of food, from gourmet burritos to oven-roasted brie and bread. Combine that with Sudwerk beer, and this place is a dream come true. The food is very well prepared - for those who are't hip to the burger scene, the Sudwerk food is equally as good. 

This place has a real down-home atmosphere to it - it has 2 TV's and paper towel "napkins" on the wall - definitely a different place than anywhere else. I personally love rolling in on a Sunday afternoon and grabbing a burger and a beer, sitting down at the stools in front of the TV, and watching NFL football. In my mind, there's nothing better.
