No More “TNM”

Thursday Night Market is done for the summer, and will not be returning next year. The Folsom Historic District recently voted to cancel the popular event due to a number of problems, from cost to security. Vendors had been complaining of a lack of sales, and the event had lost its shine over the years. More regular events like Second Saturday and Night of 1,000 Pumpkins are expected to replace the void.

Free RiverCats Tickets!

Who wants free tickets (plus parking) to the Sacramento RiverCats? We’ll be at Thursday Night Market this evening – stop by and ask for some – we’re handing them out while supplies last. Thursday Night Market is in Historic Folsom on Sutter Street, and we’ll be there from around 5pm – 8:30pm. The password for free tix is… ‘MyFolsom to go’!

Summer Begins!

The soggy weather looks like it’s behind us, and school is out – summer can officially begin! Thursday Night is the first night for Thursday Night Market on Sutter Street featuring band MT Wallets, and Friday welcomes the first Concert in the Park with rock band On Air.

TNM Temporarily Moves

Because of the continued construction on Sutter Street and a change of plan by the contractors, the 700 block of Sutter Street is no longer available for Thursday Night Marketplace. The final 3 weeks will now take place in the Trader Lane Parking Lot down by the Chamber of Commerce.

Thursday Night Market Begins

This week is the start of Thursday Night Market – the first one without the medians on Sutter Street. We’ll have a MyFolsom.com dunk tank there too, where you can dunk John, Stevethedad, and C_Vanderveen! All proceeds will go the the Jessica Baldwin-Lavine Foundation.

Hollywood Night!

Thursday Night Market is hosting “Hollywood Night” tonight, complete with celebrity impersonators (public is invited – $100 prize) and Hollywood trivia at the TNM booth. This week’s question: How many balloons were used by Aloha Balloon Company’s 3-week exhibit?

TNM Cancelled Due to T-Storms
