Missing Folsom Man Found Dead

Kristopher “K.C.” Crisalli, 35, a Folsom resident, was positively identified as the man found in Lake Natoma. Crisalli was last seen on November 9, when he was riding his bike away from his house on School Street. The cause of his death is unknown.

Man Breaks Legs After China Wall Jump

A popular but dangerous jump point in Lake Natoma had led to the broken legs of a man in his 20s. The man missed the water and jumped 40 feet to the ground. China Wall has been attributed to the deaths of at least 2 people in the last few years.

State Sells Trail Land

The State of California has sold 26 acres of undeveloped land along Lake Natoma, which will be developed in to a multi-story commercial complex. The land in the $45M sale currently runs along the American River Bike Trail, and is directly across the street from the Iron Point Light Rail station.

Boy Dies After China Wall Jump

A popular teen hangout has resulted in another death. China Wall is a spot on Lake Natoma where teens often jump in to the lake at a high point, however it has a history of tragedy. Cody Isaacson, 16, of Rocklin, jumped in on Sunday, and never came up.

Mountain Lions Confirmed in Area

Park officials are telling the public to keep an eye out for mountain lions in the Lake Natoma area. An incident with a boy scout troop occurred this weekend at Negro Bar campground, however this is the first report of multiple sightings.

Lake Natoma Body ID’d

The identity of the man found floating in Folsom lake has been identified. Timothy Allan Hecht, 54, of Fair Oaks, was found about 15 feet from shore in Lake Natoma on Wednesday. Cause of death is still unknown.

Body Found in Lake Natoma

Human remains were spotted out in Lake Natoma by a bicyclist this morning; Police have confirmed that it is a body and fished out a 54-year old man. No word yet on how long the body has been there. The Telegraph reports of blood on the door of a nearby business and apparent car damage in the parking lot, but it appears the two incidents are unrelated.

Lake Natoma Beating Victim Dies

Satender Singh, a 26-year old who was assaulted at Lake Natoma on Sunday, was taken off of life support by relatives. Singh was involved in a confrontation with another group, and hit his head sharply on a rock after he was punched in the face. If you have any information about the case, please call 874-5115.

Assault at Lake Natoma

A 26-year old man is in critical condition after an altercation with a group at Lake Natoma on Sunday Night. Satender Singh was punched in the face and hit his head on a rock, causing him to lose consciousness and bleed profusely. The group responsible was believed to be of Russian or Ukrainian descent, and left the scene in a dark green sedan and a red Mitsubishi.

Helicopter Crash Over Lake Natoma

A Sacramento County Sherriff’s helicopter crashed tonight around 7:00 in the Lake Natoma area. Initial reports indicate that 3 men were aboard the helicopter, one man was life-flighted away from the scene, and News10 reports 2 fatalities. Details forthcoming. SacBee
