Folsom High Gets Honors

Folsom High School received aSilver Award for being one of the best high schools in the country. Folsom High was ranked in the top 200 in California and top 1000 in the nation.

Bulldog Auction Now Live

Looking for a way to support the Folsom High Parent Teacher Association? The Bulldog eBash is a way you could do it. 140 items are up for grabs on this online auction, where you can bid on donated items – all proceeds go to the Folsom High PTSA. Oakland A’s tickets, lunch with the mayor, and gift cards galore are all up for grabs!

It’s Open Mic Night!

Folsom High School is hosting its first ever Open Mic Night, tonight from 6 - 10 PM at the Folsom High School Multi. In attendance will be Jazz Choir A (14-time winner of “Best High School Jazz Choir in the U.S.), Jazz Choir B, Celeste-Louise,  and special guest Tyler Robinson from NBC’s “The Voice”. The event is hosted by Folsom Jazz Choir A. Admission is $5 for adults, and $4 for students (at the door). Money raised will go towards the music program!

Crosstown Cup This Weekend

Sure, Folsom Live is this weekend, but Folsom’s got many other options too. Folsom High School is hosting the 2nd Annual Crosstown Cup, a now-annual matchup of Folsom High School and Vista Del Lago High School. Vista currently holds the cup and is favored to win, by virtue of their 4-0 record, compared to Folsom, which is 1-2-2.

FHS Reunion This Weekend

Folsom High is celebrating 85 years this weekend, and all classes are invited to a massive reunion. Sutter Street is closed on Friday Night ($25 at the gate), and Saturday there is a big dance at the Community Clubhouse ($35).

Folsom High Wins Academic Decathlon

Not only do they have brawn, but brains too! Folsom High School won the academic decathlon for the second year in a row, beating out 25 other schools in Sacramento County. SAFE Credit Union provided $10,000 in scholarships for top-scoring students.

Bulldog Homecoming Tonight

Folsom High’s Homecoming game is tonight, which means the parade is today! The parade starts at Gallardo Elementary, then wraps around Catlin Park and up Grover to the High School. The game is open to the public and is $6.

Drug Awareness Forum Tonight

Tonight at 7pm, Folsom High will host a host a drug awareness forum for parents, hosted by Christina Mendonsa. The event will feature community partners including the police & fire department.

Thursday, Sept 30, Folsom Middle School will host the Attendance Boundary Community Forum. The event will take place in the Folsom Middle School Multipurpose Room at 6:00 p.m.

Bulldog Auction!

Local parents and businesses have donated items for auction, which are now available online for the Bulldog Bash. Bid on items from a weekend cabin, to premium seats for graduation. The auction ends March 12, so get bidding!

Student Busted for Pot Brownies

18-year old Kevin Michael Droese was arrested for possession of pot-laced brownies, which he intended to sell at Folsom High School. A student tipped off the vice-principal, who alerted the police. All the brownies were recovered.
