Trosin Turning Heads
Tanner Trosin has gotten a lot of attention lately, for good reason. Trosin broke a California state record when he eclisped the 5,000-yard passing mark in the loss to Vacaville. He also owns the total yardage record with 6,364 total yards. Sports Illustrated even featured him in this week’s “Faces in the Crowd”. No word on his college choice for next year.
Folsom Loses ‘Dog Fight
Folsom almost led wire-to-wire in the Division II title game played at Sac State this evening. The Vacaville Bulldogs hung with them the entire game and slipped ahead to win 39-35. A disappointing end, but another great season for the Folsom Bulldogs.
Big Shot Bulldog
Folsom High QB Tanner Trosin didn’t leave off much this year, with more than 4,000 yards passing. The Bulldogs outplayed the Thundering Herd of Elk Grove in the D-II semifinals 42-28. Next week, they play Vacaville for the championship at Sac State. Game time is 7:30 on December 3.
Bulldogs Face Big Game
The 6th ranked Folsom Bulldogs play the 2nd-ranked Thundering Herd of Elk Grove tomorrow – it’s the Game of the Week. The winner of the game will go on to the Division II championship played at Sac State on December 2 or 3. The 10-2 Bulldogs will have their hands cut out for them, as the home Herd are 12-0.
Big Stakes for Bulldogs
The Folsom Bulldogs set the bar pretty high with the State Championship last year… this year they face big expectations, even though they have lost several key players to college. The first game is a rematch of the Folsom-Grant rivalry, played at Grant.
Dano Graves Looking Around
Folsom High quarterback Dano Graves has set out to visit some college campuses in January before he makes a decision. He’s looking at Air Force, Portland State, and Hawaii, where his brother plays. Sacramento State has also offered a scholarship to Graves. Meanwhile, linebacker Burton De Koning has committed to University of Nevada.
STATE CHAMPS!
On a soggy, wet, miserable afternoon in Southern California, the Folsom Bulldogs won the D-II State Championship in deciding fashion against Serra of Gardena. Dano Graves added 6 touchdowns to throw him in to National Player of the Year candidacy, and the Bulldogs are now enjoying the biggest victory in the history of Folsom High School. Folsom won 48-20 and are now the California D-II State Champs.

Bulldogs D-II Section Champs!
Folsom High School shocked #1 ranked Grant High with a 42-20 rout over at Sac State tonight. The win gives them a section title and vindication against a strong Pacer team that beat up Folsom on national TV earlier in the year. Dano Graves had 6 touchdowns!
