2 Dead in 3-Car Accident

A 3-car accident this evening has led to the death of 2 and 2 more sent to the hospital. A 4-door Saturn was struck when an SUV veered in to oncoming traffic around Folsom Boulevard and Parkshore. Drugs may have played a role in the accident. The victims have not been identified yet; 21-year old Michael Sharp has been arrested for vehicular manslaughter.

Folsom Woman Dies in Car Accident

Kimberly Ann Bryant, 45, of Folsom was identified as the passenger who died in a rollover accident on Folsom Boulevard last Friday night. Witnesses described the car driving erratically before the driver lost control and rolled the car. Bryant was apparently not using her seatbelt correctly, authorities said.

Motorcycle Accident Kills Rider

An unnamed man has been killed around 7pm tonight at the Glenn/Sibley area. Police are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or seen a motorcyclist on Glenn Drive near the time of the collision to contact MART investigators at 916-351-3553.

3 Teens Killed In EDH Wreck

Three Folsom teenagers were killed in a single car accident early Sunday morning. A 2006 Subaru Impreza carrying three boys and a girl was speeding northbound when the teen driver lost control and crashed into a large oak tree. The names have not been released; the driver faces possible manslaughter charges. There is no indications drugs or alcohol played a part in the crash.

Boy Dies After China Wall Jump

A popular teen hangout has resulted in another death. China Wall is a spot on Lake Natoma where teens often jump in to the lake at a high point, however it has a history of tragedy. Cody Isaacson, 16, of Rocklin, jumped in on Sunday, and never came up.

Murder-Suicide on Wales

Reports of three gunshots came and screaming from a condo on Wales Drive Thursday Night, following a domestic disturbance. Police eventually entered the unit, and discovered 2 dead. Initial reports indicate that a woman was murdered and the assailant committed suicide.

Accident Kills Folsom Woman

A solo car accident claimed the life of Folsom woman Kathy Wood, and put her husband Kent in the hospital with serious injuries. Their vehicle flipped on Highway 50 Friday night for an unknown reason. She leaves behind 6 children.

EDH Teens Arrested for Murder

14-year-old Tylar Marie Witt, and 19-year-old boyfriend, Steven Paul “Boston” Colver, were wanted for murder, and were arrested at a San Bruno mall. Witt’s mother was found dead on Monday in her Tattinger Court (El Dorado Hills) home; Their vehicle was found in San Francisco.

1 Dead in EDH Plane Crash

An experimental plane went down sputtering in El Dorado Hills tonight, as the plane narrowly avoided 2 houses and hit a 5-foot high wall. The pilot, a Wilton man, was ejected and killed, leaving little behind. No other deaths are reported.

1 Dead in Officer-Involved Shooting

Folsom Police shot and killed 23-year old Joseph Han after he approached them with an 8-inch knife. Family of the man called police after he locked himself in the bedroom and wasn’t acting himself. Police tasered the man twice before shooting him.
