What’s Folsom’s Own Christina Mendonsa been up to Since Leaving News10? Check it out!

Journalist and Folsom Resident Christina Mendonsa

Cristina Mendonsa

When veteran journalist and Folsom resident Cristina Mendonsa left News10 in June,  many of us wondered about her next move.  Would she go to another station? Another career? Another town?

We caught up with Cristina today, and she said that although she’s currently interviewing in other media markets, she is happily producing a new series on Folsom, because, “I love this community and have raised a family here.”

So, while we’ve still got her around, we can look forward to installments of Cristina’s new venture with the Greater Folsom Partnership called, ‘Folsom Focus’.

Available to watch online and as a podcast, Folsom Focus is a new hyper-local video series offering an upbeat and unbiased look at the present and future of Folsom.

Her first installment is about the completion of the Johnny Cash trail, opening this weekend.

For fun, you might want to take a look at another feature from MyFolsom’s wayback machine, ’22 Questions with Cristina Mendonsa’ from about 2004. www.myfolsom.com/resident-guide/myfolsom-coms-20-questions/22-questions-with-cristina-mendonsa/

Lastly, get out there this weekend for the opening of the Johnny Cash Trail!

Folsom resident, mom and News10 Anchor Cristina Mendonsa will be hosting an open forum to inform the public about the risks our kids are facing, how to talk to them about these risks and where to go for help and support.
