Night of 1,000 Pumpkins, Folsom CA

Night of 1,000 Pumpkins is a yearly event where we attempt to light 1,000 jack-o-lanterns in Historic Sutter Street, California. Thousands of residents and visitors of Folsom visit this yearly event which consists of trick-or-treating, outdoor movies, and of course, pumpkins! Kids are encouraged to come in costume and enjoy the festivities. Jack-o-lanterns are provided by attendees of the event - so if you visit, please bring a few carved pumpkins!

The event is always Friday before Halloween.
This year's event will be Friday, October 25, 2013.

We are currently seeking sponsors!
If you would like to donate an item for the raffle or pledge to donate "per pumpkin" for the school pumpkin drive, please email John Gladding at jgladding@gmail.com.

"Night" 2013: October 25, 2013

Pumpkin raffle:

All carved pumpins will be entered in to the pumpkin raffle, where we will be giving away great prizes from local merchants.

You do not need to be present to win! The raffle will take place after the event and the winners can pick up prizes after the event.

Movies:

"It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" will play during the early part of the event, and a break at around 7:00 for the costume parade. Afterwards, a full-feature movie will play in the amphitheater.

This year's movie will be Goonies (PG, 1985), a pirate-themed action-fantasy. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the show!
