Intel Sells Flash Business
In a move to shed a struggling business, Intel Corporation has sold its Flash division to STMicroelectronics, creating the largest producer of flash memory chips. Most Intel Folsom employees (in the hundreds) are expected to keep their jobs.Labels: Intel, STMicroelectronics
