Veteran's Day Events
The annual Veteran's Day Parade will take place on Monday, November 12, and will snake from Mervyn's on East Bidwell and make its way to City Lions Park. More than 4,000 attendees are expected for this year's parade. Time to Cowboy Up!
The Folsom Pro Rodeo is about to begin - the annual Folsom Cattle Drive kicks off the event on Friday at high noon, on Sutter Street. Veteran's Parade on Thursday
More than 1,000 participants are expected at the Vateran's Parade on Thursday, making it easily the biggest one yet. The parade has grown every year since its Folsom inception in 2000. The parade starts on Thursday, 9 am, at Mervyn's on East Bidwell. Full StoryLabels: Parade

Saddle Up!
Folsom's finest will be adding 2 new vehicles to its police squad, horses to be exact. Red and Rocky will be the latest additions, one owned by a police officer, and the other donated to the city. Homecoming on Friday
Folsom High School will have it's annual Homecoming parade, dance, and football game this weekend, starting with the Homecoming Parade at 4:30 at Sandra Gallardo Elementary. The parade route will wrap from the elementary school down Russi, Grover, and then culminating at the High School. The Bulldogs play Jesuit High School at this year's homecoming game on Friday Night.
