Big Ugly Wall
The mosque debate never ends... the new retaining wall has been erected, and is now being lambasted as an eyesore. According to the city, the wall is complete. Residents are complaining that it's unattractive and a graffiti target.
UPDATE: Mosque members have confirmed that the retaining wall is not complete and will match the exterior of the mosque...Labels: Mosque

Dogs Rule the Day
Folsom residents and mosque members sounded off on their opposition to a new dog boarding kennel proposed in a mixed-use zoning area. The kennel will be next to the mosque, currently under construction. Folsom City Council denied the appeal by vote of 4-1, in favor of the dog kennel. Kaiser, Mosque Break Ground

The announcement of an Islamic Mosque to be built in Folsom has prompted some concerns and questions from residents.
