Much more than just another Taqueria
in Folsom,
El Rincon's food is fast, delicious, and best of all
FRESH!
When choosing a
restaurant for our rare "date night," I honestly only chose El
Rincon because we had a coupon and it was something new. Little did
I know that we would discover a new gem to add to our favorites in
Folsom.
The restaurant is
small and has an atmosphere typical of a taqueria, but as I ordered
my fish tacos and was asked what
type of fish I wanted
and how I wanted it cooked, I immediately knew this place was
anything but average. The salsa bar has an excellent selection of
delicious salsa made with ripe red tomatoes (much of the pico de
gallo I've seen lately is made from green or orange tomatoes) and
fresh chips were delivered to our table soon after ordering. My
grilled fish tacos were simply the best I've had since a trip to
Cabo San Lucas a few years ago! My husband's steak fajitas were
served with a delicious assortment of colorful summer vegetables and
perfectly cooked strips of steak.
In short, El
Rincon has big Mexican restaurant quality food at taqueria prices.
Next time you are looking for a quick bite at a good price, give
them a try!
