Spring has kicked into high gear, and this will be a great weekend to get out and celebrate it… Let’s start with our weekly car show. Did you know we’ve got one? That’s right, ‘Cars and Coffee’ happens every Saturday from 8am to 10am at the Palladio Center, and features classic cars from the 20’s and 30’s to modern times. It’s free and fun… Folsom Pickers has their big Antique and Vintage Market on Sunday. Pick up some  vintage, farmhouse, shabby hand crafted items, homemade, repurposed, furniture, home decor, collectibles and antiques, and much more… You know what’s across the street from there? Why, it’s Red Bus Brewing Company. They’re family friendly, you can bring your own food, or get a bite from one of the visiting food trucks. Oh, and they have beer… Do you prefer wine? Head on up to El Dorado County for the annual Passport Weekend. Get yourself a designated driver for this one, as your ticket gets you in to sample at 20 wineries. Each one unique, and with food and music, too…Me, I’ll be running in the annual Giant Race at Raley Field. Wish me luck… Being a Realtor, I’m going to be working, too. We’ve seen a slight increase in homes for sale in Folsom this week. We are sitting at 90 (plus 8 condos). Not enough for the demand, but slowly increasing… That’s it for now. Get out there and enjoy this little slice of paradise…

What do you think should be done with the land along the American River/Lake Natoma in Folsom?

Do you envision parks? Housing? Retail? Restaurants and bars? Maybe you think it should be left alone.

Whatever your opinion, here’s your opportunity to share it tonight, at the Folsom River District Community Workshop.

This is your opportunity to hear about proposals which could forever change the Folsom landscape, and to let ’em know what you think.

That’s tonight, April 11, from 5 to 7pm at the Folsom Community Center – 52 Natoma
