Well, it looks like we’ve finally turned the corner and seen the last of the 90 degree days. Fall in Folsom is finally here!

Lots of good stuff coming up this weekend…

Red Bus Brewing Co’s Octoberfest!  happening the 28th and 29th. Grab your lederhosen or dirndl and head down for great brews, food and fun. Also look for their new Filling Station, opening soon at 815 Sutter Street… and speaking of Sutter Street…

live art experience

…be there this Sunday, the 29th for the Historic Folsom’s’ Live Art Experience. See over 30 artists painting live, in the streets. Silent auction, live music and family fun, and it’s free!..

Hometown Parade, Tito’s Tailgater, and the Folsom Pro Rodeo

The 4th of July is fast approaching, and that’s when Folsom comes alive with family events, patriotism, and of course, the Folsom Pro Rodeo.

The signs, and flags are all over town, including the Johnny Cash Bridge.

First up is the Historic District’s HomeTown Parade.

Saturday, June 29, Located on Sutter Street from Scott St. to Reading St. Come on out for some good old fashioned fun with this hometown parade.  Ride here early on Light Rail (Free from any station from 7am-1pm) and enjoy a pancake breakfast fundraiser put on by the Rotary of Historic Folsom from 7:30am-9:30am at the amphitheater stage behind 200 Wool St. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a fun time with 50 local, fun entries in the parade. Set up those lawn chairs and show some Folsom Pride!
