Folsom Live Set to Rock the Historic District

August 20, 2013

The 10th annual Folsom Live is set to rock the Folsom Historic District on September 21st.

With 15 bands on 5 stages, there is something for everyone. ¬†This year’s lineup includes ’80’s British pop/ska band The English Beat, blues greats Tommy Castro and the Painkillers, party/dance bands The Cheeseballs and Rutabaga Boogie, rockabilly from the Infamous Swanks, ¬†and country act Aces Up.

Cover/tribute bands are always popular at this event, and this year you’ll hear Motley Inc. doing Motley Crue, the Hollywood Stones as the Rolling Stones, Aerorocks covering the hits of Aerosmith, and Bump City doing Tower of Power covers and more.

Local favorites Element of Soul and Irish rebel band the Black Eyed Dempseys will be performing as well.

There will also be a battle of the bands in the coming weeks, with the winner getting the chance to play before the Folsom Live crowd.
