Annexation Approved

Folsom City Council voted to bid on annexing 3,500 acres of land south of US 50 on Tuesday night. 30% of the land are set aside for open space, while high-density housing is clustered as the core of the area. A handful of opponents were present at the meeting, while Council member Jeff Starsky was noticably insulted by residents who questioned the plan or asked if they accepted contributions by developers.
