2006 in Review
Folsom had a very busy year - the Zoo went through an expansion (with more coming), the new bridge is making progress, and the railroad block was approved. Folsom certainly had a busy 2006, but it is very likely that 2007 will be even busier.Labels: Folsom Dam Bridge, Folsom Zoo, Railroad Block, railroads

Dam Spillway Study Released
A new spillway for Folsom Dam is being looked at - this would help prevent an overflow on the dam in the event of a 200-year flood. The project would include the new spillway on the eastern part of the lake, as well as seismic and seepage imrovements, and possibly raising the dam 3.5 feet.
