Speed Limit Changes
Sibley Street and Bidwell Street now have 30 mph speed limits - a raise on Sibley, and a decrease on Bidwell. The reasoning? So police can use radar. Under state law, police cannot use radar on streets that are not legally qualified as residential streets due to the average speeds of motorists. Now they can, meaning they can enforce the speed limit more easily. Details in the Bee.Labels: Folsom Police
