Bad Season For Folsom Lake
Officials did what they did every year... let out a lot of water in the winter and wait for the spring rains to come and fill the lake back up. Unfortunately, that rain never came. Folsom Lake will be at 406 feet come September, the lowest it's been in years. For boaters, that's bad news - there will be few places to launch by then. Full Story:FOX40

89-Year Old Bridge in Doubt
The Orangevale Avenue Bridge, built in 1915, has clearly been too small for modern times for some time now. This 2-lane bridge would certainly require a little planning if you saw an oncoming car going over it. However due to its age, it's also targeted for preservation in some form, while the city searches for means of replacing it. Full storyLabels: Orangevale Bridge
