Santa Clara based Intel Corporation, Sacramento Valley's leading employer, has decided to help the city reach its affordable housing goals, by giving it 10 acres of unused land. A majority of affordable housing has been slated for South Folsom, while North Folsom only comprises about 1% of the city's affordable housing goals. The city votes on the land next month.
