San Quentin parolee Robert Mundy will go on trial for 2nd-degree murder of Folsom music teacher Aaron Farahmand on June 19. Mundy was evading police in a high-speed chase throughout Folsom, where he hit and killed Farahmand on Riley Street. The defense will try and spin the fact that the Folsom police officer who was chasing him was inexperienced. Mundy was driving with a blood-alcohol level of .26 at the time, more than 3 times the legal limit. More is in the Bee.
